Character History
Falkor's egg was discovered in a small pond on Dryad Isle. A Dryad named Lorera Runestone found the egg and took it to the Dryad village where the locals infused it with their magic in order to save the egg. A few weeks later it hatched; a small black and blue Dragon whelp appeared and opened his tiny eyes to see Lorera fluttering in front of him. Falkor Midnight Dream was his name; though he was also called the Luck Dragon because the Dryads didn`t think his egg was going to survive. Unknown to the Dryads at the time, some of their magic remained infused in Falkor giving him the powers of healing and reconstruction of broken objects.
About a month later Falkor had grown much too large to share a place with the Dryads. He was sent to Skalkaar to learn to be a Dragon with Lorera helping him along the way through mindspeak. Once he reached New Trismus Falkor met a few other hatchlings: Shashomaru, Krimsonflame and Xeffer Darkwing. He bumbled into Xeffer at the consigner`s stand, and was in a major crush. He loved her scales, and her bright orange eyes. They frolicked together for some time and by the time they became adolescents thought they were in love. The two shared everything: hoard, food, and even bought a lair together. Then came the time to learn the Rites of Passage. Falkor wasn`t sure he was completely ready, but he stuck it out to be with his beloved. After ascension, things changed for the worst. Xeffer became cold and distant. Falkor tried pleasing her; tried making her smile, but all she said was "Not now" or "Go away". Her distance hurt him deeply, so Falkor saught advice from the Elders. Yet, without warning, Xeffer dissapeared. No word as of where she went, nothing. Months passed as Falkor felt he was at fault for the occurrences that had been taking place. He asked around to Elders and friends, but no one had answers.
Xeffer returned, changed in a way no one in Istaria could forget. Falkor knew something was wrong but every time he asked her she brushed him off and snarled at him. She even ignored him, breaking his heart completely. Falkor then went off to think about what he might have done to make her so cold. Guilty thoughts ran through his mind as he sat in the Feladan forest. Falkor thought all was lost. When he returned to try once more to talk to Xeffer she was willing but still would not say what had changed her. He felt this to be a selfish, unloving action on her part, and asked if she still loved him. She wouldn`t give a straight answer. She was willing to be friends, but still acted cold to his gestures of friendship. Falkor didn`t know what to do. He felt his life was at an end; at the breaking point.
Sitting at the top of the waterfall of Drakul, ready to jump, he was forced back. A bright light glowed overhead as a ghostly voice was heard. It was his father, a spirit guardian here to stop him from doing this irrational action. He told Falkor, "This is a bad choice k`ieo aoretao; d`na take k`nieo life over a female. No matter how much it hurts, there will be others." The ghostly figure stood before him, gigantic in his appearance. Falkor didn`t ask him his name, but sensed a strong bond between himself and the spirit. He nodded, still saddened, but turned around and flew back to his lair to rest.
Months later, Falkor received sad news... His dear friend, Shashomaru, had fallen in battle. He promised Shashomaru if something were to happen to him, he would take good care of Krimsonflame and Krisha. Falkor can to Krimsonflame's side at this point, and helped her through the best he could. Little did he know they were to fall in love. Krisha and adopted brother Rayos fell in love with silly ol` Falkor at first sight. Later on down the road, Falkor and Krimsonflame decided they did love each other. He proposed to her, and she said yes. Now happier than he`s ever been, Falkor remembers the words of the ghostly Dragon and smiles wide, eyes gleaming in true love for the first time.
Physical Description
Falkor is a male Dragon. His scales are black with blue splotches and chest scales. He has golden eyes and long, curled horns.
